Any event competing with B-shoot for an audience this weekend is in need of some help, so well send a shout to this do-good activity, the first annual Blues for Food Fest. This fundraiser benefits P-Patch Trusts support of community gardens and food-bank gardening programs, so when you arent enjoying blues bands like Captain Leroy and the Zydeco Locals, you can take part in a composting demonstration or a homemade pie auction. Mmm even better, food from farmers market favorites Veraci Pizza and Hermosa Tamales will be available.
Sat., Sept. 1, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
