When Billy Joel came to Seattle last fall, I may have written a concert preview that recapped prior onstage tantrums hed thrownand implied that he was a prima donna. He was not pleased. In fact, he personally called SW to dispute the piece. Normally I would point out that this is a total diva move to be so selective about your M&Ms, but not today, which happens to be the piano mans 59th birthday. Celebrate with dueling pianists churning out his greatest hits, and sing along to your faves. There will even be a Billy Joel impersonator to recall his youthful I nailed Christie Brinkley prime. And, guys? Im not saying youll get in free if you wear a keyboard tie, but you just might get lucky. Because the ladies love Billy Joel.
