My apologies to the Arbitron dudes. Apparently my last recommendation of this amazing skull crusher of a duo, in which I speculated that their “third member” may be their drug dealer, was read and forwarded to them by one of their moms! Ma was none to happy and demanded to know if their third member was, in fact, a drug dealer, if they knew any drug dealers, or had ever met anyone who’d ever smoked a joint. Sorry if I made Mother’s Day uncomfortable, boys: I just wanted to let everyone out there know that if you appreciate “melodies squeezed of horrible noises” (as drummer/bassist Aaron puts it) Arbitron is a ball of controlled chaos not to be missed. Pairing these guys up with the killer “Big Black skull-fucking Devo” stylings of Le Shat Noir (their brilliant self-description that I wish were mine), this show will shake the Funhouse with a fabulous fury that will be felt all the way in Ballard.
