Health problems have caused everyone’s favorite former Fastback/Visqueen bassist and Cha Cha Lounge bartendress Kim Warnick to hit the hospital (like most musicians, sans insurance), and Seattle’s music community is stepping up to help ease the burden. It’s not the same without her, and tonight her longtime place of employment will host a benefit with DJs and raffle prizes (Barsuk, Sub Pop, and Vice Records prize packs; gift certificates for Linda’s and King’s Hardware; and more), with a percentage of bar sales going to the cause.
