1. Lucky Capitol Hill. The 15th Ave. storefront that has housed bakeries for almost eight decades will be the new brick-and-mortar home of nuflours. The gluten-free farmers market vendor and wholesaler (formerly known as d:floured) will launch in the space most recently occupied by (dearly departed) North Hill Bakery. “This site has always housed a bakery,” says Phebe Rossi, Founder of nuflours. “And we are excited to continue that tradition. We plan to offer the same tasty treats that residents have come to expect, but with a unique twist. They’ll all be gluten-free.” Renovations begin in early December, with opening day scheduled for sometime in the spring of 2014.

2. Although it doesn’t officially launch until next week, Eater reports that Pioneer Square-based bierhalle & brathaus Altstadt starts up its regular business hours today. The latest venture from Hitchcock chef Brendan McGill features house-made sausage, frites and kraut. Check out the full menu over here. Hours are 11:00 am to 11:00 pm daily.

3. Ezell’s Express rolls onto Capitol Hill for the first time today. The food truck is serving its famous fried chicken and crinkle fries to the Seattle Central crowd from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Look for it on the corner of Broadway and Pike.

4. Pecado Bueno in Fremont hosts a fundraiser for the Seattle Ladies Choir next Thursday, November 21 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. $15 tickets ($10 for kids 6 to 12) will be for sale at the door and include all-you-can-eat tacos and hourly performances by the choir.
