Though the print version of alt-country bible No Depression was sadly shuttered last year, it has gone on to live in both online and “bookazine” form. Now co-founder Kyla Fairchild tells me that there is a summer festival in the works, scheduled for July 11th at Marymoor Park (the site of last year’s Sub Pop 25th Anniversary shows. There are big names on the docket, though nothing can be formally announced until more acts confirmed. Fairchild is collaborating with programming whiz Adam Zachs (the man behind the ever-burgeoning Sasquatch Festival), so expect a stellar line-up of acts that exemplify the diverse range of Americana, pop and rock ND was known for championing.
