You can score a gratis burger at Li’l Woody’s on Memorial Day this Monday from 2 to 5 p.m. Our 2013 Seattle Burger Battle champ is serving free burgers for the second year in a row in honor of National Hamburger Day. “We did this last year and it was great fun — we are excited to see everyone again,” says owner Marcus Lalario. Get there early and be ready to wait in the queue.

In other news, Bite Fremont started last week and runs until the end of the month. Neighborhood restaurants and watering holes are offering $4 tasting plates through May 31, including Via Tribunali at 4303 Fremont Ave N., Nectar Lounge at 412 N 36th St. and The Augustus at 3601 Fremont Ave N.
