1. Seattle-based private dining club The Vude is partnering with Heyday Farm to launch monthly Sunday Suppers on Bainbridge Island. The series gets going October 13 with a meal prepared by Hitchcock’s Brendan McGill. Il Corvo chef/owner Mike Easton is lined up to present November’s dinner. Click here for tickets.
2. Maria Hines hosts a happy hour at her Wallingford restaurant Tilth tomorrow afternoon to discuss Initiative 522, the ballot initiative to label genetically modified food. The event gets going at 3:30, campaign officials will be on hand.
3. This Wednesday, thirty eateries and watering holes, including Oliver’s Twist, Naked City and Martino’s are participating in the yearly Phabulous PhinneyWood Pig Out. The all-day event benefits the Phinney Neighborhood Association’s Hot Meal Program.
