Ivar Haglundwould like you to spend it on a cup of his chowder. Today only, the McDonalds of seafood is offering the snack for $1.03. In honor of the late Ivar Haglund’s upcoming birthday, founder of Ivar’s Seafood Restaurants, Ivar’s is offering a 103-cent cup of chowder at most Ivar’s locations (excluding stadiums) all day Thursday, March 20. Patrons can choose from white, red, or smoke salmon chowder.

Chowder is normally $3.00 at Ivar’s Seafood Bars and $4.50 at the full service restaurants, including Ivar’s Acres of Clams, Ivar’s Salmon House and Ivar’s Mukilteo Landing.
