Anne Bonny proprietor Spencer Moody has a whole bag of tricks in store (literally) during April- The man, who’s made impromptu performances happen in the intimate upstairs loft space by artists from Ben Gibbard to Past Lives, has culled together an innovative range of talents to perform every day in April (except Mondays, when the store is closed) at 6 p.m. for just a short snippet of time- 15 minutes. Ezra Dickenson interviewed by Josh Lindenmayer last week at the Anne Bonny. Last week, I popped in for a creative dose in the form of a live interview with Bald Man Watching (Ezra Dickenson) who’s known for his stickers that can be found all over town, and the world for that matter, as conducted by a charming kid and an enormous fan of his, Josh Lindenmayer.Through Josh’s insightful line of questioning, we were given a peak into the world of the Bald Man Watching creator: Dickenson is also a full time modern dancer, has created hundreds of thousands of pieces of art (stickers included) in his lifetime, has been taken to jail twice for it, and that he prefers to walk or ride his bike nearly everywhere he goes.
