Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley doesn’t book a lot of local talent, so it’s a shame to hear that a Monday night show for singer Karen Shivers is in danger of being canceled for lack of interest. Shivers is a husky-voiced, elegant singer of standards and her backing trio is first-rate. Reserve now or it’ll be one more reason for Dimitriou to stick with guys like these:
