Dr. Arthur K. Zilberstein, a 47-year-old Seattle anesthesiologist, had his medical license

Dr. Arthur K. Zilberstein, a 47-year-old Seattle anesthesiologist, had his medical license suspended after it was revealed he had been sexting during C sections and other surgeries.

According to CNBC, on one particularly racy day in June:”Zilberstein sent 64 texts during seven surgeries, many of which had sexual innuendos. Many of the texts were apparently sent minutes apart, including one that read: “I’m hella busy with C sections.”

Dr. Zilberstein is also accused of having inappropriate sexual relations with his patients, prescribing those patients unauthorized drugs (including narcotics) 29 times, accessing records of medical images for his own sexual pleasure, and taking selfies of himself in his scrubs and medical badge with his gentials hanging out while at work.

“Oh. And my partner walked in as I was pulling up my scrubs. I’m pretty sure he caught me,” his text message read after that particular incident. Zilberstein has contracted through Swedish Medical Center in the past, but his priveleges there were suspended immediately after the allegations came out, according to a hosptial spokesman.
