kini Howell of vegan restaurant Plum has now set her sights on a vegan ice creamery and sweetshop. To raise money, she’s asking folks to contribute via Community Sourced Capital, “a sustainable financing system designed to strengthen communities.” People buy $50 “squares” to fund a larger loan, which they say will be fully repaid as the business grows.
