1. Benito’s Chicago Eatery is celebrating its second anniversary with food and drink specials starting today and running through Sunday, June 29. Purchase any pizza during dinner at the Ballard restaurant for access to $3 microbrews, $3 glasses of Proletariat wine, and $ kids hotdogs. Benito’s is also squaring off Mariner’s and White Sox themed pizzas. Whichever themed pizza has the most orders from June 25 to 29 will have their flag displayed in Benito’s window during the Mariner’s vs. White Sox series July 4 through 6. They sent both pies over to us gratis at Seattle Weekly to try. Surprisingly, after lots of in-house pre-commentary that the contest was rigged to favor the White Sox, several staff members actually ended up prefering the Mariner’s pie (with housemade creamy garlic sauce, chicken, spinach, mushrooms, fresh tomato and Pecorino Romano). The White Sox pizza features aged mozzarella, sausage, pepperoni, peppers, mushroom, onion, organic tomatoes, seasonings, pecorino romano.

2. Food trucks are returning to The Woods, the tasting room for Two Beers and Seattle Cider Company. Every Friday and Saturday from now through September, trucks like Maximus/Minimus and Happy Grillmore will be on site. Patronize a truck and receive $1 off your first pint. The full truck line-up is available online.

3. The Ballard Beer Company will be opening any day now, and when it does, you’ll be able to knock back several pints from local breweries without leaving your bar stool. The watering hole tells Eater Seattle that several of its 15 taps will be occupied by beers from neighborhood breweries.

4. Everett will be home to the “world’s first marijuana-infused food truck,” a 40-foot school bus called Samich Truck. The truck, a product of MagicalButter.com, will sell THC-infused munchies like The Samich (homemade nut butter, banana, infused honey and artisan jelly), Banh Mi (Vietnamese style pork sandwich), and Danks-giving (smoked turkey and stuffing served on cornbread). Get your high on at the Jet City Farmer’s Market this Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
