Today marks the start of the Seattle Burger Battle’s second round, which we hope you’ll find filling, since nothing else is planned for the blog this week.

Voracious is taking a brief intermission to facilitate an internal software update. We’re not going anywhere, but while us writerly types adjust to the new technology, we’ll be posting at a scaled-back pace. The plan’s for your favorite columnists to return to the regular schedule next Monday.
