Damn! Adam Lambert did it again! The American

Idol frontrunner killed during last night’s disco themed show with a soulful rendition of the Bee Gees’ (or Yvonne Elliman’s, take your pick) “If I Can’t Have You.” Is there any genre this guy can’t handle? So far, he’s sung everything from Cher’s “Believe” to Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire” to Tears for Fears’ “Mad World.” The chameleon effortlessly alters his physical appearance, vocals, and performance style to adapt to each week’s show theme.Last night, he was a reminiscent of a young Elvis with his slicked back hair, handsome dark suit, and soulful voice. He was so good that he brought wacko judge Paula Abdul to tears. Not that I’m one to accuse anyone of being too crazed of a fan. I voted for Adam five times once the lines opened up to callers/texters. Check out the Idol sensation’s performance from last night. And be prepared to swoon.
