Todd RoethBlitzen TrapperBlitzen Trapper may just be my favorite Sub Pop band of the moment. The band’s set at Sasquatch was incredibly moving, and I’m excited to report that they’ll be releasing an EP titled Black River Killer this fall on August 25th. The bad news? They don’t have any Seattle shows coming up. The closest they’re coming is Kennewick, WA and the Pickathon outside of Portland. Ah, well. Maybe that means they’ll get to do Bumbershoot? PLEASE? The final line-up will be announced mid-July, plus they’ve still got two spots free on the mainstage Sunday night….I don’t know about you, but I smell a Bumbershoot booking in the band’s near future.
