Capitol Hill cookie shop Hello Robin is open for business. Robin Wehl Martin’s bakery at the new 19th & Mercer building includes a seasonal Molly Moon’s Ice Cream counter. Ice cream sandwiches and classic cookie flavors are available alongside combos like sweet onion and pecan or orange-habanero.

Hello Robin’s neighbor Cone & Steiner is on track to launch this week as well. Folks behind Skillet, Fuel and Retrofit Home are teaming up to offer everything from sandwiches and grocery staples to hardware and greeting cards at the forthcoming general store.

Wine bar Le Caviste opened at 1919 7th Ave. downtown. Hours for the bistrot-a-vin spot from Le Gourmand alum David Butler are Tuesday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to midnight.

The latest member of Ballard’s brewery scene launched last week. Bad Jimmy’s began pouring pints of IPA, pale ale and habanero amber inside its tasting room at 4358-B Leary Way NW.

After losing its lease, the more than three decade old La Boulangerie will close its doors later this month in Wallingford. Neighboring bar Seamonster Lounge plans to expand into the space after the bakery shutters on Jan. 31. food@seattleweekly.com
