Ladies, we’ve been getting the shaft for far too long now– and not in that good clit-tinglin’ way. We still don’t get paid as much as men for the same work, and female musicians, well, they still can’t get any-damn-where in the mainstream music industry without looking like emaciated sex dolls. It’s time to take control. And controlling the jams is a good place to start. If you head to Artifakt this Friday the 13, you’ll find that DJs Eva, Kassette, NYX and Hyph-en will hold it down as well as any joker with a Y chromosome– if not better. So answer me this: why can’t we have an all-ladies Artifakt more than once a year?
