The Cave Singers play an in-store at 7 p.m. tonight at the Queen Anne Easy Street to celebrate the release of their new album, Welcome Joy, which comes out today. If you haven’t listened to it yet, you can do so on Rhapsody for free (my favorite track so far is “Leap”). The Cave Singers also play Bumbershoot on September 7 at 6:30 p.m., but if you can’t make it on Monday, be sure not to miss this gig or you’ll have to wait until their show at Neumos on October 17. Also, Six Organs of Admittance play the Crocodile tonight with Master Musicians of Bukkake around 9 p.m. That costs $12 (actually, that’s advance, so it might be more like $13 or $14). If you’d like to read more about their latest record, you can check out Brian Barr’s review of it right over here in the music section.
