Alex KachaI’m listening to the San Diego electro-pop-rock duo Crocodiles new single, “Sleep Forever” — it’s got a vague Oasis feel to it and is spacey, soaring, and surprisingly catchy. If you like big sounds, you’ll like this song, and right now you can download it for free, courtesy of Stereogum:Click here to do so.”Sleep Forever” will be available as a 7-inch single on August 17, and Crocodiles will follow up with their second full-length record in September. Crocodiles — singer/programmer Brandon Welchez and guitarist/synth-man Charles Rowell — will be in Seattle soon. They’re opening for the Dum Dum Girls at the High Dive on Saturday, June 26. It’s a good gig for them — especially since Welchez is married to Dum Dum Girls frontwoman Dee Dee. The show starts at 8 and is $10 – click here to buy tickets.
