1. Miller’s Guild has launched a new cocktail and wine menu, including several summery additions: Dock Lyfe made with vodka, St. Germain, Cocchi Rosa, Scrappy’s Lavender Bitters and Lemon Balsamic Vinegar with Rose d’Orfeuilles Brut; Playa del Sangre with house cask aged mezcal, Cherry Heering, fresh orange juice and sweet vermouth; and The Story of B with brandy, Braulio Amaro, Benedictine, Bonal and Abbot’s Bitters.
2. Shanik has also recently opened a new front patio, which seats 32. The South Lake Union restaurant has also released a new bar menu and launched a happy hour from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
3. Cafe Pettirosso has launched its weekly bake sales with treats from pastry chef Dannel George. Each Monday, the cafe sells an array of sweet and savory creations plus Lighthouse coffee from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
4. With summer apparently upon us, outdoorsy Seattleites are itching to head into the mountains. The Clymb offers “5 Backcountry Cooking Tips for Meals That Don’t Suck.”
