Ben RitterThe Brooklyn five-piece Here We Go Magic will release their second full-length, Pigeons, on Secretly Canadian on June 8th, and the sprightly lead single, “Collector,” is a hit waiting to happen. Here We Go Magic, the brainchild of psychedelic pop scion Luke Temple, will spend the summer touring the U.S. and Europe with White Rabbits and the New Pornographers, following the release of Pigeons. “Collector,” with its rah-rah spirit and its chanty, peppy melody, swerves and spirals all over the place – it’s one of those songs that seem like they’ll never end – and it’s so infectious I don’t want it to.
