Aerosmith hasn’t put out a new record since 2004’s Honkin’ On Bobo (seriously), but the band’s remained in the public consciousness thanks to incidents involving frontman Steven Tyler serenading customers at Home Depot, feuding with guitarist Joe Perry, and co-hosting American Idol. Now the band is said to be working on Bobo’s follow-up, which could be out as early as May. Tickets to see Aerosmith and Cheap Trick at the Tacoma Dome on August 8 go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday via Live Nation. I have just two questions about this show:1. Is Cheap Trick the best opening act ever?2. Do you think the next American Idol tour will sell more tickets than Aerosmith?
