Many of us are familiar with the show Dragon’s Den and it’s American incarnation titled Shark Tank where smug gazillionaires attempt to dupe desperate small business folks into giving away their ideas for as little as possible. Well, Seattle’s Tom Douglas heads the cast of investors, mentors and judges in our own local version of the concept without the malice of its predecessors. The first edition of the Lion’s Den will be held on January 15th with applications due today.
