Three Square Meals—and Then Some

This year, we really went with our gut. At least three times a day, it tells us it’s time to eat, and three times a day, it tells us where to go to do it. In deference to that, we organized our picks—this year there are 106—to represent our favorite places for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We also included our preferred “nosh spots.” These are places that are great for picking up a little something here or there; we know that sometimes you just need a quick bite or a few good drinks to tide you over. And while we’ve definitely included some perennial favorites (when will we not love Brasa?), some of our recommendations might surprise you—if only, for instance, because you love Le Pichet’s roasted chicken at suppertime and we’re counseling you to take them up on their all-day breakfast instead. After all, favorites aren’t just for dinner, and ouefs plats shouldn’t be just for breakfast.
