In Performance Memoirs, they invite you into a hotel room, transforming you into a kind of voyeur and shifting your perspective on the importance of mundane activity. In previous work, Curry has made a theater into a peep show and mined diary entries for theatrical elements—in this new piece, it’s proximity that makes the everyday dramatic.
