Their 24th summer festival expands this year, adding six more concerts in August at The Overlake School in Redmond to the full July lineup on the park-like grounds of the Lakeside School. (Picknickers can enjoy the music literally from the grounds; the concerts are broadcast outside for free). The 8 p.m. concerts are preceded by intimate, informal 7 p.m. recitals, in which SCMS musicians get to share their personal enthusiasms. To kick off next Tuesday: Shai Wosner plays Beethoven’s “Tempest” Sonata at 7 p.m., followed by Beethoven, Brahms, and Dvorak at 8 p.m. Wed. July 6: Jonathan Crow and James Ehnes offer violin duets by Bartok and Wieniawski at 7 p.m.; Boccherini, Gershwin, Poulenc, and Brahms (the Piano Quintet, including cellist Steven Doane, pictured) follow at 8 p.m. Lakeside School, 14050 First Ave. N.E., 206-283-8808. $16-$38.
